Morning Year 6,
Today is our last day of Remote Learning, and we have been so pleased with the work you have completed at home - over the next few days we will upload some of your work to the gallery pages on the website.
For English today, you are going to become rappers, and create and perform your own rap about climate change - we can't wait to see and hear them! In Maths, you are going to be applying subtraction methods to problem solving (check your answers - see below). Also, please check if you have any outstanding tasks to do on Mathletics.
If you have yet to complete your tsunami, fossils and/or creature task, can you make sure you do so today please?
Make sure you are keeping a tally of your housepoints - write the total in your Homework Book. Red team - see Shay's video of encouragement below.
Today's Word of the Day is...crave. Learn it using the Word Rap and try to use it in context today.
Reminders:
- Our final day of isolation is Tuesday 27th October, so make sure you get out and about from Wednesday and enjoy the holidays.
- Please bring your Homework Book into school on our first day back (Monday 2nd November) so that we can see all your brilliant work completed for Remote Learning.
- And something to look forward to...your Bikeability training will be on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th of November. Make sure you bring your bicycle and helmet on Tuesday - your bike can stay in school overnight on Tuesday, ready for Wednesday. You will also need a waterproof coat and spare pair of tracksuit pants in case the weather is bad.
