6LT Monday 19th October

Good Morning Year 6,

Unfortunately, we find ourselves isolating once again and learning at home. But...we are RESILIENT, and we know that you will do your very best this week to continue with your learning in the Sherwood way. 

Over the last few weeks in school, you have become more independent and have completed your work to a very high standard - keep that up this week and do yourselves, your families and your teachers proud. We can't wait to see your work, so don't forget to email it to the Year 6 email. Miss Terrell will be busy with your Parent Consultations over the next two days, but we will endeavour to respond to your emails as soon as we can.

Each day, we will set you activities and upload all the resources that you will need. Today, we would like you to complete your Maths, Spelling and English/Geography homework (see the Y6 class page). Please see the overview below for the rest of the week.

Today's Word of the Day is...distressed. Use the Word Rap to learn today's word and see if you can use it in context this week. For spellings, please revise words from the Year5/6 word lists on Mathletics, as the ous words don't seem to be available (apologies).
