Admission procedures for pupils with Special Educational needs

Sherwood Primary School is an inclusive school and aims to meet the needs of all pupils applying for a school place. We will work closely with parents and professionals to ensure that a pupils' needs are being met.

The local authority, as the coordinating body for admissions, will require professional supporting evidence if admission is to be made under the criterion for special medical or social circumstances. Such evidence must set out the particular reasons why Sherwood Primary School is the most suitable school and the difficulties which would be caused if the child had to attend another school.
