Year 6 23/02/21

Happy Tuesday - you've survived Day 1.

Now Boris has made his announcement, we are looking forward to seeing you in school on March 8th.  In the meantime, make sure that you keep up with all the work we are doing in class, watch all the videos and submit all your work via SeeSaw.  Otherwise, you'll find it much harder when you come back.

Online tutorials will begin later this week - invitations will be sent out when we have all your Acceptable Use Agreements received. If you have not yet sent yours back, please do so today via SeeSaw.

Today's 'Word of the Day' is verdant - an unusual word and infrequently used. It comes from the Latin viridis which means 'green'.  What is the word for green in French?  We can often work out what a word means through its root.

Carry on reading 'The Giant's Necklace' and we hope you are enjoying 'Boy Overboard'.

You also have an Arithmetic Paper to complete today - the answers will be sent via SeeSaw later this afternoon.
