Lesson: British Values

Class: Year 4 Year: 2018 - 2019

Year 4 had a deep discussion about poverty and helping those in need. Many children thought about how we can help raise money for charity and projects that we can support. On reflection of the word harvest, the children moved the letters around and discovered it makes 3 words: starve, have, share.   These three words became very powerful in sharing ideas in the KS2 assembly. The children thought about the good we can do this harvest and how it will help local families who use food banks. Everyone has been incredibly generous with thier donations. Thank you.
