The children start their school life here at Sherwood in our EYFS Unit. We are a 2 form entry school and therefore have 60 places. The EYFS children are able to explore in 5 different areas of learning. We have 2 outdoor and 3 indoor learning spaces, each developing different areas of the EYFS curriculum.

The children work closely in their Key Worker groups, particularly as their induction continues through the Autumn Term. The children have daily time with their Key Workers, sharing news and Show and Tell activities, as well as a variety of other learning experiences. These Key Worker groups continue to be used when the children move into Year 1.

Our Teachers are: Mrs Hanson (EYFS Leader), Mrs Stamp and Mrs Brown.
