It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Sherwood Primary School. It is with pride that I lead a dedicated, hard-working, friendly team who work very closely together to support our children's growth and learning.
We are an Outstanding School (Ofsted 2012). High expectations, inclusive approaches and excellent teaching form the basis of all our work. We aim to create a happy, caring environment in which children develop self-confidence and independence; are encouraged to be considerate and show respect for others. Sherwood children are encouraged to work hard; have a positive attitude to learning and become confident in their own ability.
We are committed to working in partnership with our parents, the local and global community to develop our pupils values for life alongside a broad range of skills that will prepare them for life long learning.
