Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Foundation Year: 2022 - 2023

THe children had very busy fingers at Forest School today.  They were challenged with making decorations for a tree that had lost all of it's leaves in the Autumn.  The children used the natural resources at Forest School including herbs from our sensory garden, as well as some colourful wools, ribbons and beads.  They practised tying knots, threading beads, wrapping and looping around things and sticks, snipping and cutting!   All great practise for our 'writing fingers'.  At the end of the day, the children had created a wonderfully decorated tree.
