Year 2 Trip to Fleetwood and Blackpool

Class: Year 2 Year: 2021 - 2022

Today, the children in Year 2 visited the Fleetwood Musuem. Whilst they were there, they experienced lots of different things relating to the seaside in the Victorian era. They learnt about how steam trains worked, what Victorians wore at the Seaside, what a Victorian boarding house looked like and they made some lovely mosaics out of pebbles. The children then boarded the train at Fleetwood and it took us approximately 40 minutes to reach Blackpool Tower. They had a look at the Comedy Carpet, sat along the promenade and gazed up at Blackpool Tower. The children then boarded the coach back to school. All of the children were fantastically behaved and represented Sherwood fantastically. Well don Year 2's, we hope you had a wonderful day!
