Author Event with Jacqueline Wilson

Yesterday, some of our lucky Year 4 and 5 readers were invited to an author event at Westholme School, with the well-loved children's author and national treasure, Dame Jacqueline Wilson. It was an incredible opportunity to find out all about what inspires Jacqueline to write, and to hear all about her new book The Magic Faraway Tree: A New Adventure.  At the end of the event, the children were thrilled to meet Jacqueline and had the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of her new book; they couldn't wait to start reading it on their way back to school!
