Creating a Garden

Class: Year 1 Year: 2022 - 2023
Year 1 have worked hard this week to make a beautiful garden.
First they weeded the flower bed, worked the soil and added fresh compost for planting.
Then we designed the garden and thought about the colours we wanted in it.
After that we used trowels to dig holes and planted: cosmos, sunflowers, lavender, cineraria, scabiosa, marigolds, pansies, verbena and geraniums.
FInally everyone watered the plants and admired their hard work.
