Class: Foundation Year: 2021 - 2022

EYFS have been looking at how our plants are growing taller and stronger over the last two weeks.  We have talked about the sunny weather and the rain providing the plants with the correct conditions for healthy growing.  The children loved using their senses to look at colours, feel the different types of foliage and smell the range of herbs.  We are growing tomatoes and strawberries and we were very curious about how the small tomatoes start so small and yellow, then grow larger and ripen in the sun.  The class noticed that the strawberries started off as yellow too and then turned red.  They loved picking them!
