The battle of Preston

Today in history, the children discovered a battle took place in Preston, in 1715. The children re-enacted the battle. One class acted as King George I army and the other the Jacobites. They marched from England and Scotland and met in Preston to battle. Finally the Jacobites surrendered to King George's army.
