Bird Beak Buffet!

Class: Year 6 Year: 2024 - 2025

In year 6, we have been learning about adaptation and evolution. We have written biographies about Charles Darwin and were interested to know about his trip to the Galápagos Islands - and his discovery about bird beaks. 

We flew around the room to different islands, where our different 'beaks' collected 'different foods.'

We found which beaks were the most effective and then discussed how this investigation linked with what Darwin found out.
