Collective Worship
Collective Worship at Sherwood is planned around Whole School Themes. Our themes are delivered through Whole School, Key Stage and acts of class worship. Our Themes link to our School Values and meet the Statutory requirement for Collective Worship as outline in Guidance for Maintained Schools.
Our children are all invited to join in with the words of our School Prayer:
Dear God
Sherwood is our school.
Help us to be one big happy family.
Encourage us to do our best in work and play,
Respecting one another at all times.
Watch over us and help us to do what’s right.
Open our eyes to the needs of others,
Offering friendship and help to all.
Day by day we thank and praise you for our school.
