Curriculum
At Sherwood, we deliver an ambitious curriculum that is sequenced into manageable components to support pupils to develop a deep body of knowledge. Our Curriculum meets the statutory requirements set out in the 2014 National Curriculum. It is brought to life through close links with our community, educational visits and visitors to school. Religious Education is taught following the Lancashire Syllabus.
Our Curriculum is accessible for children with disabilities or special educational needs and our approach complies with our duties in relation to the Equality Act 2010 and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014.
