Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Foundation Year: 2023 - 2024

The children in EYFS have been learning outside the classroom in our school grounds.  Each week, we put on our wellies and learn about nature, life cycles, pond life, create with clay and textiles, go on a bear hunt or even design a trap to capture Evil Pea!  The children have investigated how animal and plant life changes and grows through the seasons.  We have used our senses to become adventurous explorers, curious scientists and creative artists and much more!  We have developed some wonderful vocabulary and oracy through our outdoor experiences.
