The make up of soil

Class: Year 3 Year: 2024 - 2025
Today the children explored what soil is made up of. We discovered that soil is made up of layers: bedrock, rock fragments, subsoil, topsoil and humus.
The children then made representations of the soil using edible ingredients.....yum!
