Computing Team Visit BETT

Lesson: Information and communication technology

The staff Computing Team visited BETT, London, the biggest education technology exhibition in the world. BETT brings together educators from the entire education landscape to see innovative Edtech and resource solution providers showcasing cutting-edge and impactful products and services.

The computing team went with the aim to explore new programmable devices for our Early Years and KS1, to learn about more coding platforms for KS2 children and to experience the possibilities of VR headsets for cross-curricular lessons for KS2. 

We accessed live demos, workshops with industry leaders and listened to talks from government leaders. Our computing strategy at Sherwood is always evolving and we have come away with some very exciting ideas to enhance learning across the school.
