Community
Sherwood Primary School is at the heart of a thriving multi-cultural community. Our pupils learning and our daily provision is greatly enhanced through links and partnerships with our parents, community, churches and other schools.
Members of our community support our pupils learning in a variety of ways, including:
- leading clubs;
- leading assemblies/enhancing the RE curriculum;
- supporting individual pupils;
- hearing pupils read;
- helping with classroom organisation;
- helping with the supervision of children on school trips;
- helping with art, DT or subjects involving other practical activities.
