The Great Lancashire Debate

Class: Year 5 Year: 2024 - 2025

This year, we have entered a team of six Year 5 children into The Great Lancashire Debate. As 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of Lancashire County Council, we had to decide what change we would like to make today, and how it would benefit Lancashire over the next 50 years. To enter, we had to create a short presentation of our ideas. We decided that a key change that should be made is to housing and put forward our proposals in our video. If we are successful, we will get the opportunity to compete in the final at County Hall in November. Wish us luck!
