Beacon Fell Trip

Dear Parents and Carers,
On Thursday 24th April 2025 we will be visiting Beacon Fell as part of our Geography and outdoor learning curriculum. The children will be completing different activities based on the fell, including a walk to the summit and using
maps to follow different trails.
We will be at Beacon Fell from 10am-2pm. The children will need to wear their own clothes. As we are walking to the summit, the children will require a hat, scarf and gloves and a waterproof coat with a hood. The children will also require a small rucksack to place their water bottles in. Please send your child to school in wellies or outdoor boots on this day.
A school lunch will be provided so the children do not need to bring anything to school on the day.
The cost of the trip is being covered by the school therefore there is no contribution required from parents.
