Lancashire Dance Final

Our Dance Team will perform at the Lancashire Dance Final today. The Team will aim to arrive at Blackpool Winter Gardens at midday. A technical rehearsal will take place ine the afternoon. Parents, carers and family members are invited to watch the evening performance starting at 6.30pm. Our children remain in the care of School staff until the end of the evening performance.

Arrival at School: Usual drop off time and arrangements please.

Children to arrive at school in their PE kit (alternative zip up top is fine also – to avoid any issues with hair!) and hair in a mid-low bun. No bun donuts please and hair nets if possible.

9.30am: We will travel by mini-bus and a staff car to Whittaker’s Dance Studio in Blackpool for a morning rehearsal. Please give your consent for transport below.

12.15pm: Arrival at Blackpool Opera House. Here we will be allocated a changing and waiting area for the day. We will eat lunch and throughout the afternoon, we will take part in a technical rehearsal.

4pm: Children will eat their packed tea at the Opera House before changing into costumes ready to perform.

6.30pm: The show begins!

9-10pm: There is no confirmed finish time for the evening. This is an estimate by the School Games organisers.

After the event, our allocated collection area is St John’s Square in front of St John’s Church. We will bring the children to you. Please take care while waiting to collect your child and be aware that Church Street is used by vehicles.
