Smithills Farm Visit

As part of our topic ‘Down on the Farm’ this summer term, we plan to take the children on a trip to Smithills Open Farm, Bolton, on Wednesday 30th April.

We will travel by coach, and plan to leave school at 9.15am and return at 3.15pm. We are requesting a contribution from parents of £15.00 per child towards the cost of the trip. If your child is entitled to Pupil Premium funding, the cost will be £7.50. Please make payment via ParentPay by Monday, 21st April. Thank you.

On the day of the trip, the children need to:

· Arrive at school between 8.45am and 8.55am. No later please.

· Wear their Sherwood blue sweater/cardigan, with their own t-shirt and trousers/leggings that are suitable for a day at the farm.

· Suitable footwear.

· A waterproof coat.

· All children will be provided with a school packed lunch, with a vegetarian option.

· Drinks will be provided - please do not bring a water bottle.

· No spending money is required for this trip.
