Tatton Hall- Viking Workshop

Dear Parents and Carers,

We intend to take both Year 5 classes to Tatton Park near Knutsford to support our History curriculum. The children will take part in a Viking Living history day at the park and will be separated into small groups to look at different areas of Viking Life. Nearer to the time of the trip the children will be presented with ideas of costume to wear for the day.

The date of the visit will be Tuesday 17th December 2024. We will leave school as close as we can to 9-00am to allow us to travel to Tatton Park for a prompt 10am start. We will return to school by 3.30 pm. Children will need to wear their Viking costume and bring a coat. The children will also need to bring a packed lunch. If children are on school dinners, please provide them with a packed lunch and the school office will balance the payment.

We would greatly appreciate a contribution of £19 for the trip. If your child is in receipt of Pupil Premium funding, then school will be asking for a contribution of £9.50. Payment for the trip will be via ParentPay and should be received no later than Friday 6th December 2024, please.

Each class will require a few parental volunteers to help on the trip, please respond on the form if you can help on this date. If we get too many offers of help, we will pick out of a hat.
