We are all super proud of Saara in Year 4 this week, having listened to her being interviewed on BBC Radio Lancashire! 

Saara has been doing some charity work over the last few months and the people of Lancashire were given the opportunity to hear all about it. With the help of her family, Saara runs a charity baking account on Instagram called @saaras.snack.shack and chooses a different charity to support every month or two. Proceeds from what she sells goes to the charity.

In July, when she started, she raised £427 for Save the Children's Yemen Appeal. In August, she raised £430 for the relief efforts after the explosion in Beirut, Lebanon, and this month and next, she is raising money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation based out of RPH.

As part of the work she has been doing with Rosemere, she was interviewed along with her Mum on BBC Radio Lancashire on Friday 11th September. The interview will be available on iPlayer for 30 days:
