Ireland give Wales the boot!

We continue to be very proud of the high standard of Sport achieved at Sherwood and the commitment shown by our whole team to enrich our pupils’ sporting opportunities.

This week we put the spotlight on one of our teachers. Congratulations to Mrs Sarah Lovejoy, our Year 1 Class Teacher, who played International Rugby at the weekend. Mrs Lovejoy was selected to represent Ireland and played in Ireland’s first Women’s International Rugby League Team. Against Wales, Mrs Lovejoy fought hard to achieve this incredible result:

We’re so proud to have such a talented teacher on our Team. Mrs Lovejoy is not only a brilliant teacher and advocate for Sport, but a new Mummy and a superb role model for our children.
