Our Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

We had a wonderful whole school celebration to mark The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Our EYFS "Planted a Tree for the Jubilee" as part of Her Majesty The Queen’s Green Canopy. Our children all enjoyed a Jubilee Picnic on the School field. We delivered two whole school presentations - every child participated in celebrating a decade of The Queen's 70 year reign. Our families all participated in The Great Sherwood Bake off - showcasing incredible baking and design talents. We showcased the values of the Commonwealth games through dance. We sang the Nation Anthem together and finally, we held a Jubilee fair. Our first occasion in over two years to join together to celebrate. We are Sherwood 2022!
