Sir Tom Finney u9 Football Tournament

Mr Whelan and Mr Johns took 15 children (2 teams) to represent Sherwood at the Sir Tom Finney u9 Football Tournament at PlayFootball. This tournament is an annual tournament and Sherwood were the first winners, so it is a  special competition for our school. 
 

The competition was split into two sections. The reds battled hard and got a couple of good results. The blue team won their group (without conceding a goal), won their semi final and eventually beat Our Lady and St Edward's in the final.
