Reading in Year 2
READING
Reading is a very important part of the curriculum. We expect children to read as often as possible. We ask that children read and then discuss what they have read every night e.g read for 5 minutes then discuss the text for 5 minutes. It doesn't matter if you don't finish the book in 1 night. The discussion is more important.
We will be changing home reading books on a Tuesday and Thursday.

LIBRARY
Children will be taken to the library in small groups on alternate weeks. Please make sure your child has their library book in their bookbag each day.
