Year 3 enjoyed an introduction to France this week, in preparation for their work this term learning to speak French. We got to taste some French food, including croissants, pain au chocolat, baguettes and crepes. Chocolate crepes were very popular! We rose to the challenge of building the Eiffel Tower using art straws with amazing results, listened and appraised some French music and soared into Paris through Google Earth. A great start to the topic; well done Year 3!
