EYFS begin to learn about special stories in Islam and Christianity.

Class: Foundation Year: 2022 - 2023

In RE, the children in EYFS are beginning their study of two religions over the coming weeks - Islam and Christianity.  Today, the class collected vocabulary to decsrcibe how an object is special to them.  They then thought about stories are special to them and how they make them feel.  We learned that the Bible contains special stories that Christians believe give them guidance and wisdom.  The children enjoyed looking closely at a range of very different Bibles and making comparisons.  They understood that Christians consider the Bible as a holy or sacred book.
