Fear the Viking invaders

Class: Year 5 Year: 2022 - 2023

Today, all of the children in Year 5 took a step back in time and found themselves changing into their alter egos as Viking personalities. All chose a Viking name to become for the day before being split into Viking clans. 

The children then found themselves completing a range of activities, pitting themselves against each other playing Hnefatafl a dn testing their strength in the stick challenge. They also made clay tiles to display their Viking name and a message which they can translate for you at home. They finally produced their own Viking Longship to help them complete any journeys further afield to continue their invasions of other territories.

We think they really enjoyed themselves and got into character really well.
