Year 6 had a fantastic session with Ian Wilson - our visiting Apple expert - today. He worked with each class, showing them how to use Garage Band on the Ipads. They had time to experiment; build rhythms and layers of instruments; and by the end of the session, they had created a backing track for their English writing. Earlier in the week, the children had used Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World' to inspire their writing of 'What an Uncaring World' - so they now have music that works with this!
