Isaac Mabaya returns to Sherwood

Class: Year 3 Year: 2022 - 2023

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming back one of our ex-pupils - Isaac Mabaya.  

Isaac attended Sherwood Primary, where he played football for the school team.  He has gone onto sign a professional contract with Liverpool FC and currently plays for the England U-19s.

KS2 were lucky to hold and question and answer session with Isaac and they were truly inspired by his journey from Sherwood pupil to football star!  We talked about aspiration and how if we work hard enough on what we want to achieve, we will achieve it!

Both children and staff were inspired by Isaac and what he has achieved.
