Magnetic or not magnetic?

Year 3 explored what a magnet is. They learned that a magnet has a North Pole and a South Pole. They explored which poles attracted and which poles repelled. The children also discovered that not all metals are magnetic. Only metals that contain iron, nickel and steel will be attracted to a magnet.
