Preston Sports Festival

Lesson: Physical education

Class: Year 3 Year: 2022 - 2023

On Tuesday 13th June, 60 children represented Sherwood at the Preston Sports Festival at UCLAN. Our Teams participated in Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Hockey, Girls Football, Mixed Football, Netball, Giant Skills and Cricket competitions. This is Preston's largest Sports event of the year with all Preston Primary School's invited to take part.

Every team played with pride and represented Sherwood exceptionally well. We are proud of everyone.

Congratulation to our Netball team who came away with a 1st place trophy after winning every game in their group stages and each round of the finals. 

Congratulation also to our Tennis team who won 2nd place after a very close final.
