Properties of Materials investigation

To further Year 5's Science knowledge today, we have looked at identifying a number of properties of chosen materials. As a class the children looked to predict and then investigate whether their chosen materials were electrical conductors, transparent, strong thermal conductors or magnetic. The investigation gave rise to lots of interesting data for us to use in later lessons. Take a look at the children performing their investigations, which included them using knowledge of electrical circuits and how to set them up.
