Rocks, soil and fossils

Class: Year 3 Year: 2024 - 2025
To start our new unit of work, rock, soils and fossils, Year 3 became rock detectives. The children went on a search in the school grounds to see what rocks they could find and used their senses to describe each rock. They children also made some very detailed observational drawings of their rocks in class.
