Space scientist visits Year 5

Class: Year 5 Year: 2024 - 2025

This afternoon, Year 5 were visited by Dr Sheila Kanani, an author and Space Scientist who enthralled the children with her path into being a Space scientist. She talked to the children about ways to follow interest in Space and how there are many jobs represented in the Space science industry. She also discussed the projects she had been involved in and what encouraged her into a career in the Science industry. Children were then given the opportunity to ask questions, which showed their interest and great knowledge they had already gained in the Science topic taught. Absolutely fabulous afternoon Year 5.
