The Children’s Bookshow with Michael Rosen

Year 4 enjoyed a trip to the Children's Bookshow at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool this afternoon, to see the one and only Michael Rosen. Michael entertained us with humorous tales of his childhood and his brilliant poetry; we loved joining in with the rhythm, rhyme and actions for his poems. Sanayah got the opportunity to ask him what he enjoyed writing about, to which he replied his family. At the end of the show, we each received a copy of Michael Rosen's Big Book of Bad Things to add to our personal library; we couldn't wait to read it and began reading on the way home!
