Tower Wood Day 2
Year 5 had a fantastic night, all getting the much needed sleep for the busy day today. Some of the children completed a lake journey from Tower Wood to Fell foot and then walked back to Tower Wood over Gummer's Howe. Another group completed this journey the other way around. A number of groups went to Cathedral cave in the Langdales with others heading up Stickle ghyll in Great Langdale.
Other groups were on the Lake completing tasks such as canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding whilst others.
Tonight the children have been playing headhunters in the grounds at Tower Wood and are now all shattered.
Tomorrow sees more lake journeys and caving.
