Year 4 Egyptian Workshop

Class: Year 4 Year: 2024 - 2025

Year 4 took part in an Egyptian Workshop today. We learnt about how the Black Land and Red Land Land were unified into one nation, and how the flooding of the Nile and farming was important for survival. We then created a pyramid of society and were given different roles and positions. We also learnt about some of the pharaohs and what they are remembered for. After that, we handled some artifacts and explored what they were, what they were made from and what they were used for. Finally, we  took part in a mock mummification. We leanrt a lot and had a great time!
