Year 6 in court!

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Class: Year 6 Year: 2024 - 2025

Year 6 had a really interesting morning! We had four magistrates visit our classes today, to talk to us about the workings of a magistrates court. We were amazed that children can appear in court from aged 10! We then held a court case about a cyber bullying accusation. The children made fantastic witness and magistrates - deciding on the guilt/innocence of the defendant, and the level of punishment they should receive. 

As always, the children we fabulous role models of the Sherwood values. Well done!
